Firm/Studio Name
Weearchii Studio

How did you come up with the name of your studio?
WEEARCHII means WE ARCHITECTS. We started it with collaborations with other architects and interior designers. And we’re so proud that we got to learn so much from each other

What determined your passion for design? Tell us about the moment when you decided this is the way to go.
Since I belong to architectural family background, this has impacted my whole childhood in a very different perspective as I was always surrounded by 3D models, sections, elevations, and plans which fascinated me a lot. That’s how I entered architecture.
So, when someone asks me “WHY HAVE YOU CHOSEN ARCHITECTURE?” I simply reply “I WANT TO LIVE MY CHILDHOOD AGAIN AND AGAIN”

What kind of projects were you doing when you first started as a designer?
Interior Projects, Façade Designing, and Residential Projects

What field of design are you most interested in?
Residential, Commercial & Interiors.

What is your favorite book/magazine on design? How about your favorite site?
Archdaily, ARCHITECTURE +DESIGN and DEZEEN, are the main sites we are fond of.
Book – YES IS MORE BY BJARKE INGELS
MAGAZINE – METROPOLIS AND VOLUME MAGAZINE

What is your Signature Style?
We don’t follow the same style, instead of that we try to fulfill the need of the client first and more focus on the user-centric design. Although we like working on Modernism, Minimalism, and contemporary architecture.

What inspires you to thrive in this industry? Which piece of architecture inspires you the most.
My father is an architect. He is my biggest inspiration to be in this industry and the role model of my life too, he hasn’t only told me the principles you should follow as an architect but also taught me the most valuable lessons.
I like Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water which is based on the concept of organic architecture which beautifully blends both natural and man-made structures. Also, Barcelona Pavilion by Mies Van der Rohe which is based on the concept of LESS IS MORE inspires me the most to be minimalistic yet classic.

From your point of view, is design an art or a science?
Art and Science are two very different things yet they both are very important in designing as art lets you be more imaginative whereas science asks you to be more practical while designing we should keep in mind what are the challenges that we can solve practically or we can find out a new innovative idea by getting inspired from something or discovering it by ourselves, so, from my point of view I think design is both an art as well as science too.

If you had no limits (money, resources), what would you create?
if I got the opportunity like this I would like to build a settlement on Mars since there is a possibility of livelihood on Mars I would love to explore that side and would love to do work in that field because that would be something innovative and new for to become a multi-planetary spice in the entire universe.

What advice do you have for young designers or architects reading this interview?
I would advise my young designers to be more qualitative and even if you were thinking of something abstract you should find a way out of it to solve that problem. When you are stuck in a problem you should know that the solution is always surrounded by the problem, you just have to figure out the way to find that solution and apply it to your design.
