How did you come up with the name of your studio?
Myself, Architect Brij Padalia, has the same pronunciations as that of the bridge but the meaning of both words is very different from each other. The bridge is the one that connects, and that is what we are here for connecting the client’s requirement with their final outcome.

What determined your passion for design? Tell us about the moment when you decided this is the way to go.
It was very random. No family background in this field. But always passionate about playing Lego games. Now I can understand the designing pattern that comes within by playing lots of Lego.

What kind of projects were you doing when you first started as a designer?
By the grace of God, I got the first high-rise residential project that of a builder. And somehow I cracked the deal and that’s how our firm started walking slowly on its path of progress.

What field of design are you most interested in?
our firm is mastering towards designing residential high-rise buildings for the builders. Residential planning is our core.

What is your favorite book/magazine on design? How about your favorite site?
Books..?

I read rarely.

What is your Signature Style?
Signature style is yet to come. Not finished yet.
What inspires you to thrive in this industry? Which piece of architecture inspires you the most.
Le Corbusier and Bjarke Ingles are my inspirations.

From your point of view, is design an art or a science?
Both.

If you had no limits (money, resources), what would you create?
A masterpiece that can be experienced by the users or the habitat which they previously never had. And that would change the mindset of people to live in a space designed in a totally different way and manner.

What advice do you have for young designers or architects reading this interview?
Believe in yourself. Trust your thoughts. Take a bold move to create a space and a volume which one never had experienced.
