How did you come up with the name of your studio?
I have always believed that good design is about personal taste and Philosophy, a very individualistic expression of Art, sense of style and Aesthetics. Our Practice is also Multidisciplinary design practice, with a strong emphasis on creative detailing.

What determined your passion for design? Tell us about the moment when you decided this is the way to go.
I always had a creative flair but it is actually after starting my Internship that started really enjoying Architecture and Interior Design.

What kind of projects were you doing when you first started as a designer?
I was doing a Farm House and then a Glass building when I started my first job. Very few such Buildings were being done at that time and Designed a Residence and an Office when I started my Studio .

What field of design are you most interested in?
I love Designing multidisciplinary spaces, I have designed Hospitality spaces, Commercial Retail and Educational Spaces. I truly enjoyed all of them .

What is your favourite book/magazine on design? How about your favourite site?
I love visiting Dezeen and I love exploring various new products on Archiproducts.

What is your Signature Style?
I believe that we are at a very interesting point in time, we have a huge heritage of different styles which is forming an interesting landscape, and I do not believe in a Signature style, I believe design has to be contextual and instead of following specific trends, we like to create individual expression. I also like to mix hints of different styles in the contemporary style of design. I enjoy layering various materials and textures and play of different forms within a space.

What inspires you to thrive in this industry? Which piece of architecture inspires you the most.
Art and Design are such important elements of human fulfilment, being part of the design community and though creating enriching spaces is what inspires me as good design can deeply impact human lives. It is difficult to pin a single piece of work which inspires me the most, the list of works is long, and contains art & Furniture also, some of them are, Works of Peter Merino, Zaha Hadid, Fornasetti, Le Corbusier, Yayoi Kusama, Bose Krishnamachari

From your point of view, is design an art or a science?
Design is an art and a science and an emotional experience .

If you had no limits (money, resources), what would you create?
A Maximalist Luxury home .

What advice do you have for young designers or architects reading this interview?
In addition to good design, focus on good documentation also.
